The NUX NU-X NOD-2 Tube Man MKII Overdrive Pedal is an effects pedal built to help you add character to your tone — supplied as genuine Australian stock with local warranty. If you're not playing through a real tube amp, cranked for overdrive, it's difficult to get genuine tube overdrive sound.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Add character to your tone — that was the overall goal.
  • Dial in sounds quickly — the original Tube Screamer pedals used an OP-AMP system, a basic circuitry that became popular for its “perfect amp” attributes.
  • Fits on your pedalboard — it had to be overdriven or distorted by re-shaping the signal until it distorts (diode-clipping).
  • Built for the stage — clipping it a little bit gives you Overdrive.
