AJA 12G-AM Overview
The AJA 12G-AM is a compact embedder/disembedder that adds or extracts eight channels of AES/EBU digital audio to and from SD, HD, 3G, 6G and 12G-SDI. It handles 4K/UltraHD signals on a single cable and includes an SFP cage so fibre I/O can be added later.
Key Features
8-Channel AES Embed/Disembed
Insert or pull up to eight channels of AES audio from the SDI stream for mixing, monitoring or routing.
Single-Link 12G-SDI
Supports formats up to 4K/UltraHD over one cable, simplifying UHD audio workflows.
Fibre-Ready SFP Cage
Add an AJA fibre SFP for long-distance transport without replacing the converter.
Ideal Applications
Ideal for broadcast trucks, live events and post facilities that need to marry separate audio consoles with 4K SDI video.
