The Yamaha CGX122MC Classical Guitar w/Pickup is an instrument built to help you get a sound that inspires you to play — supplied as genuine Australian stock with local warranty. MODERN GUITARS ENGRAINED IN TRADITION Yamaha CGX122M classical guitars combine traditional design aesthetics and craftsmanship with modern innovations.

Why You’ll Love It

  • Get a sound that inspires you to play — more than a half-century ago, Yamaha consulted legendary Spanish classical guitar luthiers such as Manuel Hernandez and Eduardo Ferrer in the pursuit…
  • Enjoy comfortable playability — the CGX122M guitar's back and sides are crafted from Nato wood, complementing the solid Spruce (CGX122MS) and Cedar (CGX122MC) tops.
  • Built from quality tonewoods — the guitar's fingerboard and bridge are constructed of Walnut, and the instrument features a modern matte finish.
  • Ready for practice, stage or studio — plus, the guitar's double-action truss rod makes it easy to adjust the neck both backward and forward.
